UPDATED: Status of Delivery of Programs and Services re COVID-19

Date: March 16, 2020

Important Notice for the Community:

Canada and other countries are dealing with the COVID-19 “coronavirus” pandemic. ASNL’s Board of Directors is being proactive and taking measures to lower the potential risk to our vulnerable population.

To minimize the risk of exposure and spread to our participants and their families, to staff and to the community at large, please be advised that effective immediately, Monday, March 16, 2020, the Elaine Dobbin Centre for Autism, The Pantry Cafe, Good Roots Gardening, and the three regional offices are closed to the general public.

This means that all programs and services are cancelled until further notice.

We encourage anyone who has travelled, or who may be showing signs and symptoms, to contact the provincial health line at 811.

Yours sincerely,

Scott Crocker

Chief Executive Officer

NOTE:

We encourage everyone to follow the advice of the health professionals: avoid large crowds and events; practice frequent hand washing; avoid touching your face; and practice social distancing.
