ASNL Welcomes Our New CEO

The Board of Directors of the Autism Society of Newfoundland & Labrador (ASNL)
is pleased to announce the appointment of
Mr. J. Paul Walsh to the position of Chief Executive Officer.

Born and raised in St. John’s, Paul brings over 35 years of managerial experience in private enterprise as well as a strong history of advocacy for the rights of persons with disabilities and for the concepts of equity, inclusion and the dignity of the person. Paul’s life-long personal experience with disability and his determination to overcome obstacles, coupled with his proven leadership abilities, will help guide the ASNL team.

Paul holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Co-operative) and a Master of Business Administration from Memorial University and is a Chartered Manager. He was the 2020 recipient of the Cecilia Carroll Award for Independent Living.

An active community volunteer, Paul and his wife, Robin Bartlett, reside in St. John’s.
He is the proud father of two adult children.
