Changes to ASNL Provincial Office Phone system – May 1st, 2013
On any given day, the ASNL Provincial office at the Elaine Dobbin Center for Autism receives dozens of phone calls, which are all routed through our front desk reception area.  In order to promote efficiency and to make sure that we do not miss your call, we have recently made some changes to our telephone system.

With our new system, you will not immediately reach a staff member, but instead will be asked by the auto attendant to either dial a three digit extension for the staff person you are trying to reach, or to dial one of the following prompts;

  • Press 1 to reach the Pantry Restaurant and Café
  • Press 2 for a list of staff member’s extensions
  • Press 0 for immediate assistance

A large portion of the phone calls we receive are customers who are trying to reach the Pantry Restaurant and Café.  These customers can now press 1 to reach the Pantry immediately instead of waiting for reception to answer.
If you are looking for a specific staff member (e.g. you have a family member/client in programing and want to speak to the program coordinator) please be aware of the staff member’s three digit extension.  While listening to the auto attendant you can dial this extension at any time to reach them.

Please note: If a program coordinator is currently in programming, they may not be available to take your call.  Please leave a message for them and they will get back to you ASAP.  If it is an emergency, you may press 0 for immediate assistance during regular office hours (Monday to Friday, 8:30AM to 4:00PM)
