Through the Elaine Dobbin Centre for Autism, the Society will provide highly effective treatment and intervention to people with Autism and their Families. The centre will help many persons with ASD learn to communicate effectively, share in family life or gain meaningful employment.
The Elaine Dobbin Centre programs will be piloted and developed so that they can be delivered through satellite centres around the province.

Who is the centre for? |
The Elaine Dobbin Centre for Autism is for individuals who are affected with autism, parents, friends and family of these individuals.

Why is the centre important? |
There is currently nothing in place that can give these type of services and opportunities to people with ASD. The centre is also to help people with ASD to communicate effectively and lead as much of a normal life as possible, with meaningful employment as an adult.

How is the centre funded? |
The Autism Society of Newfoundland and Labrador is undertaking this center and is using donations and fundraising efforts to build and maintain Elaine Dobbin Centre for Autism.
