We are a nonprofit, charitable organization dedicated to fostering the development of individualized, lifelong, community-based supports and services for persons with autism spectrum disorder. ASNL is committed to the promotion of acceptance, independence, productivity and opportunities for inclusion in all facets of life for persons with autism spectrum disorders and their families.

Promote timely and appropriate diagnosis and intervention treatment(s), and educaction for all persons with autism spectrum disorders.

Promote public awareness, understanding and acceptance of persons with autism spectrum disorders.

Help inform families as to the variety of treatment options, to facilitate the selection of the treatment(s) most appropriate to the individuals need.

Provide support to the persons and families affected by autism spectrum disorders through the development of programs and services within their community.

Develop partnerships with families and other service providers to ensure services meet individual needs.

Encourage the development of a strong provincial society with chapters and parent groups through the province.

Create a province-wide information and resource network in order to facilitate communication and service delivery on behalf of persons with autism spectrum disorders.

Promote research into all aspects of autism spectrum disorders.

Provide leadership in assisting the provincial government and the community accepting their responsibility to provide the special services and resources needed by individuals with autism spectrum disorders, and their families.
